Cinda’s Accents

ABOUT

Cinda Baker, of Cinda’s Accents, has been a part of making North Platte beautiful for more than three decades. Cinda’s career as a custom picture framer started in 1983 at Odegard’s Art & Framing in North Platte. These early days at Odegard’s provided Cinda with the foundation she needed to create Nebraska’s largest art gallery and custom frame shop from 1996-2003.

As a Custom Frame Specialist, Cinda has been blessed to be a part of preserving memories creating beautiful spaces for both business and residents throughout North Platte and beyond— with loyal art-loving customers spanning from Santa Fe, NM to Cheyenne, WY. Locally, you’ve probably seen some of her custom framing welcoming newcomers to North Platte at the Airport and decking the halls of Equitable Bank, First National, Nebraskaland Bank, Wells Fargo and the Centris Credit Union.

Today Cinda is proud to blend her eye for beauty, her extensive design experience, and skilled craftsmanship to yield award-winning services! In fact, Cinda took 1st Place in the International Design Star Framing Competition for two years running. She landed first place in the 2015 Frame Design for Canvas and then took first for 2016 Frame Design for Photography.

These days, Cinda merges her 33 years of experience in framing and her passion for all things beautiful in her one-stop Art, Custom Framing & Unique Boutique! Although she no longer boasts the largest gallery in Nebraska, Cinda maintains a dealership with all main publishers of limited & open editions of bronzes paper, canvas, and custom-tailored fine art prints on a variety of substrates. She also holds the rights to reproduce the “Last Farewell” bronze by artist Ted Long.

Cinda Baker expanded Cinda’s Accents to include the Unique & Chic Boutique in 2006 to sell her favorite clothing and jewelry. The shop has evolved over the years, becoming a true shopping destination for savvy women throughout the Midwest.
